As with previous EU Presidencies, we continue our tradition of inviting the ambassador or a representative of the current presidency to give a presentation about their country, as well as its goals and priorities for the presidency. Since January 1st, 2025, Poland has held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
We are pleased to welcome Joanna Klepacka, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, who has kindly agreed to come to Aarhus to speak about both her country and Poland’s approach to leading the EU Presidency. She will, of course, also be happy to answer any questions from the audience.
Following the presentation, there will be a networking session with the opportunity to enjoy wine and light refreshments (snacks), or alternatively mineral water or coffee.
Joanna Klepacka is a career diplomat currently serving as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen. Her diplomatic career includes previous postings at the Polish Embassy in Vienna and the Permanent Mission of Poland to the OSCE, where she led the Human Dimension Unit during Poland’s Chairmanship of the organization in 2022. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw, she has held various positions focusing on European bilateral relations and human rights.
Due to the refreshments being served, we kindly ask you to register in advance. You can do so at this here.
The event will be free and in english.
